OFFICIAL MELB COMEDY FEST PRESS RELEASE
Huw Joseph returns to his hometown of Melbourne, from another stint in the UK were he’s been gigging and doing TV/Radio, to perform his new show “Songs That Will Never Leave My Bedroom”. His second year in the MICF he’s worked hard crafting new songs and is excited about performing solo after a successful debut last year with his full band. Inspired by a mean spirited critic long ago who told Huw his songs should never have left his bedroom, he is taking their advice and bringing his bedroom to you!
Giving insight into burning social topics like gingivitis and nice names for dirty things, the show will encompass stage antics, props and wonderfully melodic pop rock comedy songs. Join Huw and his guitar in this VERY intimate setting at the usually members only venue, The Kelvin Club.
“Huw Joseph’s stand up skits merit laughs but it’s the song’s that are the highlight. Incredibly tight you can tell there’s a lot of musical experience, keep an eye out for this guy!” – Herald Sun.
“With deadpan dialogue and dynamic ditties in equal measure, Huw Joseph is primed to do damage in the world of Musical Comedy.” Bafta award winner – Doc Brown.
